SLASH: Three Tracks From 'Deluxe' Edition Of Solo Album Available For Streaming
October 2, 2010The deluxe edition of Slash's (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) self-titled solo album was released on September 28. The three-disc set includes two CDs and a 52-minute DVD featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the album, performance footage from Australia and Los Angeles, video clips and more.
"Slash" deluxe edition contains the following:
* Two early demo tracks
* Five bonus songs including Slash and Kohshi Inaba's recording of "Sahara" which has been awarded "Single Of The Year" by the Japanese recording industry, the first time in 20 years that an international artist has won this award.
* 18-minute behind-the-scenes-in-studio video documentary of the making of "Slash"
* Slash one-on-one, track-by-track video interview taking you through each track on the album
* The final video edit and the making-of-the-video for "By The Sword"
* Live video of "Back From Cali" from the Roxy secret show in April 2010
* Live video of "Starlight" and "Mean Bone" recorded at the launch of MTV Classic Australia in April 2010.
* Two songs recorded live from the launch of MTV Classic in Australia in April 2010
* Three acoustic songs recorded live at Xfm in London with Myles Kennedy in May 2010, including a cover of "Sweet Child O' Mine"
* Two songs recorded live during Slash's solo show at the Manchester Academy in July 2010, including "Watch This" and "Nightrain"
* "Beautiful Dangerous" (featuring Fergie) radio mix version
* Limited-edition guitar pick designed by Ralph Steadman and Slash

Three tracks from "Slash" deluxe edition are now available for streaming at Ultimate-Guitar.com.
Slash filmed a video on August 27 for the song "Beautiful Dangerous" with guest singer Fergie (a.k.a. Stacy Ann Ferguson). Slash said in a Twitter posting, "[The] concept is twisted; Fergie's idea."
"Slash" scored the highest new entry on The Billboard 200 chart in early April, with first-week U.S. sales of around 60,000 copies.
